Marouka Lodge is located at Mt Hotham, an alpine resort in northeastern Victoria, Australia. It takes about 4½ hours to drive from Melbourne.
In winter, visitors come to ski and snowboard in the resort, and to cross-country ski on a network of groomed tracks and open backcountry. Snowshoeing is increasing in popularity.
In summer, the resort and its surrounding areas attract bushwalkers, cyclists and 4WD enthusiasts. There are many geocaches to find. It is also a brilliant place to just get away to.
Marouka Lodge is ideally situated just off the main road next to the Jack Frost bus stop. Marouka is an open family-oriented membership club without institutional affiliation. With a resident manager, the lodge is open year-round to accommodate guests.
