Marouka is a club lodge and is operated by the members. We have a resident manager to assist guests and ensure everything runs smoothly. The lodge is a non smoking environment.

Living areas

The lounge area has magnificent views across to Mt Loch and up Swindlers valley to Mt Feathertop. In summer the lounge balcony provides for lazy sunny lunches. A separate "Quiet Room" allows you to get away from other guests to read or work (if you really have to).

Kitchen

The kitchen is well equipped with microwaves, gas stoves and ovens. An assortment of herbs and spices, oil, food wraps (plastic and aluminium), sugar and other consumable items is provided.

There are cupboards for food storage under the kitchen benches (labelled by room number). There is extra storage in the store room and additional fridge and freeze.

You need to provide your own meals, food and alcohol.  Supplies are available (limited range and premium prices) at the General Store although opening hours are uncertain during summer.

Bedrooms
There are eight bedrooms ranging from double rooms for couples to rooms with a double bed and three bunks for families or groups. Each room has its own heater. Bedding is provided (pillows, blankets, doonas) but you need to bring pillow cases, sheets and your own towels.Bathroom facilities are shared with separate men's and women's bathrooms. Room allocations are on the notice board on your left in the entry foyer.
